Steve Arcenio is a documentary and commercial Cinematographer and Director based in the Pacific Northwest, known for crafting visually rich stories rooted in truth and emotion.
His journey began in the heart of the music industry, capturing raw studio sessions and the electric energy of life on tour. What started as behind-the-scenes moments soon sparked a deeper calling to tell real stories with cinematic impact.
Since then, Steve has directed and lensed numerous documentaries, including The Sheely Smith Story for ESPN and Unbroken Line by Matt Lacross—a moving exploration of an artist’s pursuit of purpose through his work.
His narrative sensibilities extend into music videos and short films, earning accolades such as Best Cinematography in France for a music narrative short. He has also worked with a wide range of musical talent, directing videos for artists like Trev Lukather (Only Girl) and ZNi (Official Music Video), among others.
With a distinct visual style and a deep respect for the human story, Steve continues to blur the line between documentary and artistry—always chasing the truth behind the lens.
